ATO 1012 Neuroanatomy and Clinical Neuroscience
The Neuroanatomy Course consists of a series of lectures, laboratories and demonstrations, with the goal of providing students with a solid foundation of knowledge in the related fields of functional
Neuroscience and Gross Anatomy of the Head and Neck. The course integrates topics from several basic science disciplines, including Neuroanatomy, Neurophysiology, Embryology, Histology and Gross Anatomy. A significant portion of the instruction consists of hands-on laboratory sessions, during which students will examine prepared specimens of the human brain and spinal cord, and perform dissection of the head & neck on a human cadaver.
