BBB 4000 Bench to Bedside and Beyond
The Bench to Bedside and Beyond (B3) component of the curriculum represents a six-week period of advanced clinical and scientific didactics. It seeks to integrate clinical, basic and health systems sciences while emphasizing case-based examples and incorporates topics such as patient safety, team-based care delivery (patient-centered medical home), professionalism, and evidence-based clinical decision making. Also included are advanced training and/or certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), as well as training in the medical response to sexual trauma and the Gunpowder field exercise.

Completion of Pre-Clerkship curriculum and Core Clerkships
