FLE 118 Fundamentals of Dental Radiography
This course is intended to provide postdoctoral students with a practical understanding of fundamental concepts in dental radiology as related to the practice of endodontics. Topics to be included are: implications of mA, kVp, and exposure time, quality assurance program development, radiobiology, radiation risk, dosimetry, and a survey of radiograph techniques. Proper imaging technique will be emphasized throughout the course. Factors in designing a dental office for radiation protection will be discussed.
