HPE 506 Principles of Online Instruction
This course helps learners understand the principles of online instruction by addressing the integration of technology into curricula and the principles of instructional design and development of online teaching. The course will allow learners to interact synchronously and asynchronously in a fully online environment utilizing discussion boards, chat rooms and other online learning tools and to share their critical thinking about issues related to online instruction. Ultimately, learners will develop an actual technology-based online instructional module that could be implemented in existing or new UME, GME or CME courses.
