MEM 4003 Emergency Medicine Elective
The Emergency Medicine elective is a 4-week, senior elective designed for 4th year medical students looking for additional emergency medicine experience in the basic tenets of diagnosis and management of emergency medical conditions. The rotations consist of clinical shifts, in military and civilian emergency departments, as well as participation in local didactics, procedure labs and grand rounds. The 4-week elective, located at sites around the country, affords students the chance to learn about the assessment and management of emergency patients while gaining further insight into a potential career in emergency medicine.
