NURS 5133 Trauma & Combat Casualty Care
This course is part of the GSN signature curriculum and develops the clinical assessment, diagnosis and intervention skills of APRN students in preparation for caring for trauma and combat casualties in far forward deployed, austere and humanitarian settings. Students will use advanced diagnostic tools and apply concepts of assessment, management, resuscitation, stabilization and evacuation of trauma and combat casualties. Leadership of inter-professional teams is emphasized.
