OPTS 2345 Advanced Ophthalmic Techniques
This course presents an introduction of theory and practice in clinical procedures and techniques of various diagnostic evaluations and management practices of ophthalmic services. Topics include patient history, visual acuity tests, accommodation and convergence tests, stereopsis and depth perception, tonometry, slit lamp biomicroscopy, pupillary reflexes, tangent screen test, arc perimetry test, color vision tests, visual fields, ocular motility, aseptic technique, ocular emergencies, contact lens overview, ophthalmic office efficiencies, and awareness of customer service concepts.
