PED 4300 Adolescent Medicine
This rotation focuses on the world of adolescent medicine which extends beyond the teen years. Most of our soldiers, sailors, and airmen fall into this category, so this rotation can be really helpful in learning the skills and techniques to understand and relate to their specific health challenges. These challenges can be less straightforward and obvious than older patients with their seemingly classic pathophysiology. Getting comfortable with how to have uncomfortable conversations improves their health and your skills with preventive medicine in all ages.
