PRC 2002 Cardiopulmonary-Renal Module
In this nine-week module, students study the structure, development, and function (anatomic, molecular, biochemical, and cellular mechanisms) of the cardiovascular, pulmonary and renal systems. They learn how to identify the clinical manifestations, pathology, and pathophysiology of common and serious cardiovascular, pulmonary, and renal conditions, and develop an understanding of the principles of disease management and prevention. Students will also learn how to describe and use diagnostic maneuvers, clinical tests, and specialized imaging to confirm and/or evaluate these conditions.
