RCC 4262 Dental Implant Course I
This course will introduce the resident to BASIC diagnosis, treatment planning and delivery of dental implant treatment. Topics covered will include: Periodontal anatomy and surgical foundations, the history of dental implantology, principles of osseointegration, dental radiographic imaging techniques, implant design concepts, patient selection, and surgical guide design. Surgical techniques and armamentarium, as well as restoration design and laboratory fabrication of restorations will be taught. Course presentations will include open discussion, lecture, and laboratory sessions.
