RGE 3121 Research/Thesis
This course is continuous. Each resident must complete an original research project. After successful completion of the Research Design and Proposal course a written protocol will be submitted for institutional review. Pending approval, the proposal will be submitted to DDEAMC’s IRBNet for review. After receiving final approval, the resident will execute the study, collect and analyze the data. An abstract will be submitted to the AAE on or before 15 October of the resident's second year of training for consideration to present at the AAE Annual session. Each resident will present a PowerPoint presentation at Resident Research Day, will submit a manuscript suitable for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
