RGE 8311 Medically Compromised Management Seminar I
Medical specialists from their respective fields present a one hour lecture highlighting the significance of a related medical condition and proper dental management of the patient. Significant to the dental specialist are the drug-drug interactions; clinical treatment modifications; awareness of patient response to sedation, local anesthesia, stress etc. The purpose of this course is to provide the resident with information at the familiarity level with the intention of applying this knowledge to the care of medically adjunctive patients.
