SFMS 3302 Surgical Sterile Processing
This course focuses on the practical application and processes involved with sterility in the surgical environment. Achieving sterility within the austere environment is a complex and intricate system of tasks. In this course the student will learn the basic science behind sterility, how to employ portable sterilizers, how to package sterilized tools and materials, and how to create a sterile surgical suite using all available resources in a rustic setting.
