SURI 4618 Clinical Rotation I
This course is designed teach the students the use of the Military Health System’s electronic health record software, GENESIS, in the clinical environment. Additionally, it provides students the opportunity to apply all aspects of the didactic portion of the Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman curriculum from the past year. This course is conducted under the direct supervision of a licensed medical practitioner. Clinical rotations are conducted at various locations including Military Health System clinical sites, and aboard vessels in port and at sea. Students develop the skills necessary to perform the prescribed medical scope of an independent practitioner.
