IDO 221 Introduction to AI for scientific research
This 1-credit course will introduce the potential of AI in scientific research and discovery relevant to the USUHS graduate programs. The course will draw on work by DeepMind, who used AI to make scientific advances within the cognitive, biological, and medical sciences. The course will review examples of superhuman narrow AI as well as attempts to develop artificial general intelligence.
