NURS 7222 Treatment of Substance Use Disorders Across the Lifespan

This course is designed to teach students about substance abuse treatment theory and give them the opportunity to apply the principles of advanced practice psychiatric nursing in a substance abuse treatment facility. Throughout the course, the student will analyze mental health and illness to determine the best psychiatric care for individuals in substance abuse treatment settings.
