CCTP 2602 Critical Care Transport Clinical
This clinical rotation component of the Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCTP) program provides students with invaluable hands-on experience in a variety of critical care settings. Building upon the didactic coursework, students will apply their knowledge and skills to real-world patient scenarios, performing advanced medical interventions under the direct supervision of experienced healthcare professionals. The rotations are designed to expose students to diverse patient populations and critical conditions, fostering their ability to integrate theoretical understanding with practical application. Through active participation in Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU), Burn Units, Surgical/Trauma Intensive Care Units (SICU), Cardiac Care Units (CCU), and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), students will refine their assessment, management, and critical thinking skills essential for a successful career as a CCTP.
