MLTS 2401 Medical Laboratory Fundamentals and Phlebotomy
This course provides clinical rotation training for Medical Laboratory Technicians within a Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) environment. It focuses on practical pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical laboratory operations using the Military Health System Genesis (MHSG) or Electronic Health Record (EHR), strict adherence to safety protocols and local Operating Instructions (OIs), quality control and troubleshooting, inventory management, and hands-on phlebotomy procedures across adult, adolescent, geriatric, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.
