ANE 4202 Anesthesia Selective

Students are involved in the perioperative care of patients undergoing anesthesia and surgery. This selective will introduce students to a systematic approach to perioperative evaluation, while highlighting co-existing diseases of particular concern to the surgical patient. Critical technical skills required of all physicians, including airway management and intravenous catheter placement will be taught along with the use of physiologic monitoring that are used in many specialties.
