APG 4140 Anatomy Teaching Elective
Students will assist the Anatomy faculty in teaching anatomy in the School of Medicine First-Year and/or Second-Year Gross Anatomy Courses. Lab is held in the Anatomical Teaching Laboratory (ATL) at USUHS on the Ground Floor of Building A. The senior student participates as a junior faculty member, teaching cadaver dissections to the first-year or second-year medical students, creating pro-sections and other related teaching material (i.e. review PowerPoints, ANKI decks, pre-lab videos, etc.), leading small group reviews, and presenting pro-sections to the first-year or second-year medical students in their assigned lab bay. This course is under the supervision of the anatomy/surgical faculty members.
