EMSA 1204 Clinical Advanced Emergency Medical Technician
This course provides students a practical experience, operating in a high stress environment. Students simulate providing point of need care under hostile conditions in an operational setting. The scenario includes austere environments, ethics, multi-casualty incidents, and evacuation training, as well as caring for patients in an “all hazards”, Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and High Explosive (CBRNE) Environment and the treatment and diagnosis of routine diseases in a remote clinical setting.
