EMSA 2301 Technical Writing
Students learn to gather, analyze and organize information in a systematic and logical manner, and present this information through professional written communication. Patient complaints, history, exam findings, diagnosis, and treatment plans are clearly and accurately documented and conveyed to other providers. Attention to procedures of technical writing, analyzing intended audience, and organizing information in a purposeful manner are emphasized. Students will also conduct professional reading which they will be expected to critically evaluate, recognize study limitations and assumptions, and draw inferences on applicability to their practice.
