FLH 130 CBCT Principles

This course is designed to familiarize the students with cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) related to use in dentistry. The course offers a comprehensive review of basic CBCT interpretation of anatomic structures, pathology, indications for use in a multitude of dental disciplines, benefits, risks, interpretation, and report writing. The objectives for student learning will be the ability to review a CBCT region of interest in small and medium fields of view as well as effective communication with oral and maxillofacial radiologists.
