HCB 1302 Patient Assessment

In this course students are taught and must demonstrate how to assess patients of all
populations. Specific topics include vital signs, pain assessment, safety and infection control.
Focus is given to primary assessment, patient interview, medical history, and secondary
assessment including physical exam.
