MCB 701 Tutorial in Molecular and Cellular Biology

Students whose doctoral research projects necessitate knowledge in some specialized areas of Molecular and Cellular Biology can acquire such knowledge via a supervised study by registering for this course with the approval of their respective advisors. Before the start of the course, the student and the advisor (and the instructor, if the advisor is not also the instructor) will set the goals for the course and the advisor (or instructor, if the advisor is not the instructor) will formulate a course plan (that includes the type of academic activities involved, study materials used and the rubric for grading) and get it approved by the course director. The academic activities of the course can consist of classroom lectures, literature study, student presentations, discussions or computer lab exercises or any combination of them.
