MPO 302 Military Psychology II

The purpose of this graduate level course is to provide students with a review of major areas of inquiry and application in industrial/organizational psychology, human factors, human engineering, and occupational health psychology relevant to the evaluation and enhancement of human and organizational performance in the military. The course is designed to help prepare Ph.D. clinical students at USUHS for eventual military assignments in which they are likely to serve as principal consultants and advisors to flag level officer unit commanders. The course is especially designed to help officers become knowledgeable in topical areas so that they can provide occupational, environmental, and preventive medicine guidance for preserving the health and performance of soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines during military deployments and combat operations.
