PMO 516 Analytic Approaches to Data Analysis and Interpretation

This course is designed primarily for the doctoral student.  The students will use the knowledge and abilities acquired in previous epidemiologic courses to conduct a cohort or a case-control study.  This includes writing the study protocol, analyzing and interpreting the data, and writing a final report in the way of a journal article.  The study will be based on existing databases and students will work under the supervision of a faculty member. Enrolled students must submit a study plan to the course instructor for approval at the beginning of the term.
