RAD 4005 Radiation Oncology
This rotation is designed to provide trainees with exposure to radiation oncology, which uses biological effects of high dose ionizing radiation for therapeutic (not diagnostic) purposes. Students will have the opportunity to learn more about our five types of patient encounters: the initial evaluation, simulation/planning, treatment delivery, on-treatment visits, and follow-up.
