RBB 353 Orthodontics

This Course reinforces and builds upon the basic biological principles of tooth movement. Each resident begins with a minimum of 2 assigned orthodontic patients, and is encouraged to use the orthodontic services for their comprehensive care patients and/or pros, endo, or perio patients as needed. Residents treat a sufficient number of patients to allow them to gain clinical experience in the following areas: orthodontic diagnosis, treatment planning techniques, anterior tooth alignment, diastema closure, molar uprighting, and tooth extrusion including fractured/endodontically treated teeth. Senior residents also present clinical cases in a "Case of the Month" format at the end of 2nd year.
