SUR 3200 Surgery & Surgical Subspecialties Clerkship
The purpose of this rotation is to gain experience with the evaluation, medical, and surgical management of common conditions in the community hospital environment. Students may choose to rotate through multiple surgical services over the course of one or more weeks. The goal of this course is to prepare both students interested in surgery and primary care with a broad exposure to common, low-acuity surgical issues in preparation for surgical, primary care, or transitional year internships.
