SUR 3101 Ophthalmology Selective
The purpose of this selective is to gain experience with the evaluation and management of eye disease, both medical and surgical. Students will be exposed to common ocular problems, anatomy, and the principles of ophthalmology in either the community hospital or military treatment facility environment. The goal of this course is to provide students interested in either ophthalmology or primary care with the opportunity to explore and advance their understanding of the specialty. This rotation will also build a foundation for more advanced clinical and audition rotations.
