FAM 4180 Complementary Medicine-Acupuncture

Students will gain a basic understanding of acupuncture; learn acupuncture techniques and indications for use in the management of acute and chronic pain conditions. Students will learn techniques that can be applied to selected patient problems in the outpatient and operational settings. Students will be active participants in conferences and lecture series.
