FLE 109 Interdisciplinary Seminar 1-2
This seminar is designed to promote understanding of the important relationship between the disciplines of prosthodontics, periodontics, orthodontics and endodontics in the overall treatment of the multidisciplinary patient. Discussion is encouraged regarding periodontal prostheses, indications and contraindications for splinting, biologic width and crown margin placement, endodontic-periodontic relationships, sequence of orthodontic therapy and treatment planning considerations, and surgical and restorative facets of implant treatment. Students present treatment plans for discussion by the group.
