HCB 1203 Clinical Calculations
This course is designed to teach students how to safely calculate and administer drug dosages,
and to interpret quantitative diagnostic laboratory results. The course provides a review of
general mathematics, introductory algebra, and an opportunity to learn systems of measurement
and methods of solving problems related to drug dosage and intravenous fluid administration. It
is designed for students in the health disciplines. Topics include algebra, graphs, and
measurement and conversion between various systems of measure.
