NDTS 2104 Neurodiagnostic Technology Science II
This course provides training on the International Classification of Seizures and Epilepsies, patterns associated with the various forms of Epilepsy, recognition of clinical seizures, non-epileptic events, and disorders that may be clinically similar such as syncope, includes antiepileptic medications. The course includes an introduction to abnormal case studies and accompanying EEG samples. It additionally provides signs, symptoms and etiology of the various diseases, disorders and other medical issues that create them. Includes recognition of encephalopathies, infectious disorders, brain tumors, cerebrovascular disorders, headaches and head traumas as seen in both the clinical and electroencephalographic settings.
