NMTS 3401 Applied Technical Mathematics
This course provides a review of basic mathematics, algebra equations, common and natural logarithms and their manipulation, linear and logarithmic graphing. Provides didactic instruction in principles of mathematics as applied to the field of Nuclear Medicine, basic statistics terminology, frequency distributions, Gaussian distribution, Poisson distribution of confidence limits, standard error, efficient distribution of counting time, and the statistics relating to imaging procedures.
