PHRA 2101 Extemporaneous Compounding (Non-Sterile)

This course will introduce the fundamentals of extemporaneous pharmaceutical compounding of non-sterile preparations (Creams, Suppositories, Syrups, etc.). This course uses the knowledge gained in Pharmaceutical Mathematics (PHRA 1309) in a practical application course. Assignments and readings in selected text will be given. One practical exam will be conducted.
