PMO 992 Travel Clinic Practicum
This course is an optional clinical practicum course for students who are taking or who have taken PMO 990 Travel Medicine. It utilizes patient encounters in the clinical setting to develop skills and experience in the practice of travel medicine. Students will complete a minimum of six patient encounters at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center under the supervision of travel clinic staff physicians and will conduct appropriate preparation and follow-up for each encounter. The total expected time requirement is approximately 12 hours.
