CCCF 874 Orofacial Pain 2
The scope of instruction is broad, and historical and current treatment philosophies are included. The residents work directly under the tutelage of these specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with Orofacial pain and TMD. The tutelage includes providing referrals, medications, behavioral instructions and the fabrication of various types of splints. This course prepares the student to work with the TMD specialist and his or her orthodontic patients during and after the training program.
