HCB 2405 Anatomy and Physiology II
This course is the second of a two-course sequence. It is the study of the structure and function
of the human body including cells, tissues and organs. Emphasis is placed on the interrelations
among systems and regulation of physiological functions required of homeostasis. Hands-on
learning experience for exploration of human system components and basic physiology are
required of laboratory experiences. Focus is placed on the head, eyes, ears, nose, throat, and
teeth, as well as the musculoskeletal, integumentary, neurological, endocrine, genitourinary, and
gastrointestinal systems.
