IDO 521 Introduction to AI in Psychological Science

This 1-credit course will introduce AI from a cognitive science perspective. The course will lean on work by DeepMind, who used neural networks and reinforcement learning to play games and to solve important real-world scientific problems. Theory and application of Large Language Models (e.g., ChatGPT) will also be covered. Applications of AI for medicine and clinical psychology will be reviewed.
