INDS 2396 Independent Study
This Independent Study Course is designed to enable undergraduate students an opportunity to pursue and explore areas of inquiry not regularly offered through scheduled courses. This course will build on students’ knowledge and encourage undergraduates to apply their academic experiences to particular intellectual and practical concerns. Students who undertake this course are expected to be self-motivated and largely self-directed. This course is designed for a student to work on a specific topic with a faculty member for academic credit. The topic is focused rather than general and involves the pursuit of a topic of interest by a student in the major under the supervision of a faculty member with expertise related to the topic.
This course may be repeatable for credit given the Independent Study Learning Contract and topic of study are different and individually determined per course.
