MCB 1000 Fundamental Concepts and Techniques in Bioengineering
This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to basic bioengineering concepts, techniques and applications in both molecular and cell biology and biomedical science. Topics include tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, biomedical imaging, artificial intelligence applications, and regulatory science. Lectures, labs and discussion classes will also provide an overview of basic bioengineering skills and discussions of emerging research topics.
Prerequisite
Undergraduate-level genetics, cell and molecular biology, to be assessed on a case-by-case basis by course director.
