MED 4745 Foundations in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in Healthcare

This course prepares medical students to use artificial intelligence (AI) medical tools in clinical medicine. The advent of generative pretrained transformer (GPT) algorithms is transformational; it is advancing medical science and clinical care. AI has the potential to improve safety, lower costs, and provide better outcomes. Because AI systems are complex and powerful, they must be properly understood and used correctly.
