MPO 901 Research Methods and Complex Human Experimentation I
This course provides students with information regarding a variety of research methodologies that are used in scientific psychology. A major goal of the course is to provide students with skills in critical thinking, scientific writing, and critical reading of research. A major exercise in the course is the development and presentation of a research proposal. By the end of the course attendees will be able to: 1) To critically evaluate manuscripts and articles; 2) To translate questions and hypotheses into research designs; 3) To understand how to write and present a research proposal.
