NEU 4100 Adult Neurology Clerkship
The Neurology Clerkship is a combined inpatient and outpatient rotation where students evaluate and manage patients as part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of other medical students, residents, nurses, therapists, pharmacists, and Staff Members. Students participate in teaching rounds and conferences conducted by their site and have required virtual didactic sessions on Wednesday afternoons hosted by USU billeted faculty. The overall objective is to teach students principles of neurologic diagnosis and management in preparation for internship. Students are required to see nine Core Patients and submit a written assignment on two of them. Students must also pass a written examination and their end of month Clinical Performance Evaluation.
