OPMS 5000 Leadership and Teamwork in the Health Professions: A Military Perspective
This year-long course supports the development of adaptive leaders and healthcare professionals serving in uniform. This course is based on the USU Leader-Follower Framework and is designed to deliver a personalized learning experience to equip students with the perspectives and skills they need as leaders and followers working in contemporary health care environments. Learners will develop as leaders and professionals by increasing their self-awareness, emotional intelligence, understanding of group dynamics, and leading teams, and greater appreciation of their multiple professional roles to create value for the learner, their team, and their organization. Sessions will occur during summer semester, fall semester, and spring semester and credits will be received following the final session.
