PERF 791 Basic Concepts in Periodontics 1-1

This course is an introduction to basic concepts in periodontics through the review of current textbook materials. A one-hour seminar format will allow discussion on topics such as periodontal anatomy, etiology, pathogenesis, disease classification, treatment planning, surgical and nonsurgical treatment modalities and implant dentistry.
