PHO 515 Molecular Pharmacology

This literature-based course builds upon a basic understanding of the principles of pharmacology to provide students with working knowledge of the rational design, identification, and actions of molecularly-targeted therapeutics, with a focus on modern therapies that affect the immune system and/or are used to treat cancer.  The course also aims to provide students the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills necessary to analyze and critique scientific data through the discussion of primary literature.
