PMO 1018 Global Health I
:This course is the introductory global health course offered at the Uniformed Services University. It is intended to serve as a survey course and will provide a broad-based introduction to the field of global health from a development perspective, as well as provide a more detailed examination of some of the most pertinent issues in the field. This course will cover topics ranging from global burden of disease to measures of effectiveness, along with maternal and reproductive health, child health, nutrition, cultural considerations in global health, and even an introduction to the role of the DoD in global health, among others.
